QuestionPro MCP servers let ChatGPT interact directly with your QuestionPro account — creating surveys, building dashboards, analyzing responses, running research workflows, and more — all from a conversation. Instead of navigating the QuestionPro web app manually, you describe what you need and ChatGPT handles the workflow on your behalf.
This article walks you through connecting a QuestionPro MCP server to ChatGPT using the Apps feature. The connection uses OAuth, so no API keys are required. You authenticate once with your QuestionPro account and ChatGPT receives scoped, revocable access to the capabilities you choose.
Before connecting QuestionPro to ChatGPT, make sure you have:
Each QuestionPro capability (surveys, BI, CX, and so on) has its own MCP server with a unique URL. To find it:
You will paste this URL into ChatGPT in the steps below. You can repeat this process to connect multiple QuestionPro MCP servers.
To connect a QuestionPro MCP server to ChatGPT:
Once connected, the QuestionPro app will appear in your ChatGPT apps list. Repeat these steps to add additional QuestionPro MCP servers.
After connecting a QuestionPro MCP server, you can invoke it during a conversation in two ways:
Once the app is active, describe your task in plain language — for example, "Create a 10-question NPS survey for our product launch" or "Build a dashboard showing churn signals from last quarter." ChatGPT will use the QuestionPro tools to carry out the workflow and will ask for your confirmation before taking any write actions.
On Business plans, apps are enabled by default. On Enterprise and Edu plans, apps are disabled by default and must be enabled by a workspace admin or owner before members can connect them.
Steps for admins (Enterprise/Edu):
Once published, workspace members can connect their individual QuestionPro accounts from Settings > Apps and begin using the app in conversations.
To disconnect a QuestionPro app:
You can also revoke access directly from your QuestionPro account under Settings > Connected Apps. Workspace admins on Business and Enterprise plans can disable the app for all members from Workspace settings > Apps.
