Collecting feedback should not be boring! Visual mode assimilates the philosophy of design driven feedback and supports creating surveys that are beautiful and engaging on every interaction. Visual mode enables you to customize background images for each question individually. You also have full control over where and how the question is displayed on screen without worrying about the devices your customers will provide feedback from. Visual mode seamlessly handles the display across devices like laptops, tablets, mobiles, and even TV's and other displays and at the same time makes it extremely easy for respondents to provide feedback.

Go to: Login » My Surveys (select a survey) » Edit » Design
Under the design tab, under Survey Layout, select the Visual layout.
Click on the Customize tab to further customize the theme.
Following customization options are available
Background: You can select any image you like and this image will be set as the default background for all questions in the survey.
Layout: You can select from the following question layout options
For the question you would like to customize, click on the Settings link to open the settings panel.
Select the Visual settings option.
Certain question types cannot be displayed when visual mode is enabled. Question types with steps or specific interactions don't work with the visual mode. If these question types are added on a survey, we don't allow to switch on visual mode for the survey.
Following question types are currently not supported:Classic display mode will be used for surveys with above question types.
