Conversations

Conversations is designed for focused, real-time employee dialogue. It combines the ease of a community forum with enterprise-grade anonymity, allowing leaders to pulse the organization on specific topics and instantly pivot from raw feedback to structured action. Think of it as a secure, topic-driven space where collective feedback is transformed into measurable organizational steps.

To start a conversation, login in Empower and follow these steps:

• Once inside the homepage, open the sidebar navigation and click on Conversations.

• After going to the Conversations page, click on New Conversation to open the setup modal.

• After clicking on New Conversation, this setup modal will open up. Add details like title, question, logo, cover image and allow likes, dislikes and comments as you see fit. Then click on Create.

Important Note: No two conversations can have same title. The question can be same accross the conversations but the titles will always be unique.
• The conversation is now created. As the moderator, you are directly taken to the Moderation page. To start, you can preview the conversation by clicking on the eye icon and see how the conversation would appear to the respondents.

• To distribute the conversation and get responses, simply copy the link and share with the desired group.

• On opening the link, the respondent will get assigned a name and an avatar. This is done to ensure correct data collection and analysis while keeping the employee identities anonymous. The name and avatar can be regenerated if needed, they can then click on Continue to go to the chat forum. Users can add their response(s) to the question, comment on other users' response and like/dislike a response as they want.

• Once the responses start coming in, you can view the data in real time on the moderation page. You can add replies to the responses as a moderator and also have the ability to delete a response or a reply if found inappropriate for the setting.

• The Analytics page uses AI to analyze the collected responses and find insights. It includes an executive summary, trending topics, sentiment analysis, key metrics and most engaged with responses. This pages shows the data only after there are 5 or more responses.

• If at any point you want to update the details of the conversation, like title, question, logo, cover image or settings, you can do so via the setup page.

• After the data collection is done, you can close a conversation to move to the next step of taking action. Once the conversation is closed, you will see bolt icons next to the trending topics on the Analytics page. Click on the bolt icon to see the recommended action. You can select an existing initiative from the list and assign the recommended action directly as a task to the person responsible. After you successfully assign an action, the bolt icon turns into a green check showing that the action has been assigned.
