Communities - Ideas Points Set Up

Using this Points setup you can assign points to members for submitting new ideas and posting comments on ideas. Daily, Weekly, Monthly points limit can be setup.

Go to Communities >> Modules >> Idea Board >> Points

  • New Idea: Assign the points you wish to award to the members for posting an Idea.
  • New comments Assign the points you wish to award to the members for posting a comment.
  • Maximum Points Represents the points a member can earn per month, week, day. By default, the total maximum points per month is 100; however, this may be modified by the admin.
  • Click on Save.

Will members receive points for every idea or comment they posted?

If the limit for day/week/month is not set then members will receive points for all the idea or comments that they post.

If the daily/weekly/monthly limit is set then members will receive points for the assigned number of points per day/week/month.
