Hello:
You are being asked to participate in a study of the work environment preferences of mobile workers. The purpose of this study is to identify the important considerations that influence where students and faculty choose to work and how the chosen environments impact the health and well-being of the worker.

There may be some minor discomfort in answering some of the questions that aim to understand your personal attitudes and feelings and how those are associated with your mobile working experiences. This study aims to provide insight into future work examining how workspaces can best be configured to meet the needs of a mobile workforce by identifying the key features that matter to the individuals making those decisions and the outcomes of making those decisions. The compiled results and interview transcriptions from this study will also be made available to the Atkins Library Redesign Project.

The survey is expected to take approximately 25 minutes. In the survey, you will be asked to describe three places that you most frequently use for work.

As a participant, you will be eligible to enter a drawing for one of four $25 Amazon.com gift cards. If you would like to be entered into the drawing, on the survey debriefing page, there will be a link to another website where your contact information will be collected. The personally identifying information collected to contact you will not be linked to your survey responses in any way. If you are the winner of the gift card, you will receive notification and the prize via the email address you provide.

Your agreement to participate in this study will be kept confidential and your name will not be linked to any of your comments. You are a volunteer and the decision to participate in this study is completely up to you. If you decide to participate in the study, you may also decide to stop at any time.
