In order to provide its members with the best services, the World Union of Olympic Cities (UMVO) would like to get to know you and your city better. This questionnaire, developed in close collaboration with the International Olympic Committee, is the first step to help us achieve this objective and start to identify best practices amongst UMVO members.
The focus of the questionnaire is to understand how Olympic cities, both past and present, have nurtured and built upon their Olympic legacy.
The recommendations and lessons that you have learnt will become valuable data for the UMVO and will form the basis of future discussions, panels, and hopefully strengthened inter-city relations. It is important that this information is shared with former, new, or potential hosts of the Games so as to increase the knowledge capacity on how to leverage a city’s position as an Olympic City and ensure the Olympic spirit remains alive and is a benefit to the city once their Games have ended.
We thank you in advance for taking the time and effort to complete this questionnaire.
