I, Varsha Ruttu an MBA student, at the Graduate School of Business and Leadership, of the University of KwaZulu Natal. You are invited to participate in a research project entitled, The influence of social media on the marketing activities of companies in South Africa. The aim of this study is to obtain a better understanding of social media usage of South Africans and how this impacts the marketing activities of brands.

Your participation in this project is voluntary. You may refuse to participate or withdraw from the project at any time with no negative consequence. There will be no monetary gain from participating in this survey/focus group.
