Hello:
I am planning to create a permanent public artwork made in collaboration with Primary School students to install in a natural environment in the Whangarei District. My hope is that it will create a visually stimulating and beautiful installation which will be a legacy piece to be visited and enjoyed by generations of tamariki and whanau alike as well as the general public and tourist visitors to our district. I will be hoping work closely with each school involved in a way that enhances current delivery of arts within the curriculum without impinging on the constraints of delivery.
If you are interested - or prefer that I not contact you for further discussion, please indicate on your return email.
You are invited to participate in my survey on art activity in schools. In this survey, approximately 15 schools will be asked to complete a survey that asks questions about the current art activity in schools. It will take approximately 5 minutes to complete the questionnaire.
Your participation in this study is completely voluntary. There are no foreseeable risks associated with this project. However, if you feel uncomfortable answering any questions, you can withdraw from the survey at any point.
Your survey responses will be strictly confidential and data from this research will be reported only in the aggregate. Your information will be coded and will remain confidential. If you have questions at any time about the survey or the procedures, you may contact Penny McConnell at 021 331 178 or by email at the email address specified below.
