The ICT Board has recently approved two new standards covering Web Server and Web Application Security.
In support of the release of these standards, the Board has entrusted the Office of the Chief Information Officer with the responsibility of providing assurance that agencies are moving towards compliance with the standards.
As an initial step in this process, the Office will be presenting a High Level overview on May 24th, 2012. This will be followed by training seminars for each standard on June 19th and 21st, 2012.
To assist us with the planning of these events, would you please indicate below if you have an interest in attending. Note that these sessions are free, and catering will be provided.
Whether you attend these sessions or not, it would also assist us with future communications about these standards if you would provide some details about your role within your organisation.

The Web Server Security training seminar will be held on Tuesday June 19th, in room 1, level 2, Flinders University Victoria Square, from 9.00am till 12.30pm. Morning tea will be provided.
The intended target for this seminar is agency ICT system administrators and IT Managers.
