We are updating the way we keep in touch with our friends, clients and potential clients, and in particular are looking at introducing a quarterly email communication and our use of social media such as Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter.

We are looking at sending out an email communication once a quarter to associates, customers and prospects who know us. It would contain up to five short articles (300-400 words) on topics, drawing on our experience in our core focus areas. Our aim is for every article to contain some information or an opinion that is new to the readership - i.e. it will contain real nuggets of value rather than regurgitating information easily found elsewhere.

With this specification in mind please indicate your agreement or disagreement with the following statements, where -5 is vehement disagreement, +5 is very strong agreement and 0 indicates no opinion.

Businesspeople who frequently post on social media are indicating they have too much time on their hands.
Having a basic company presence on Facebook is important.
