You are invited to participate in our survey to help us establish the true extent of the use of ultrasound in the Emergency Department. In this survey, approximately 260 specially selected people from Emergency Departments from around the UK will be asked to complete a survey that asks questions about; How many/what type of hospitals are using Emergency Department Ultrasound (EDU), what it is being used for, who is performing ultrasound, what training ultrasound operators receive and the perceived limitations/obstructions in hospitals implementing EDU into their department.
It will take approximately 5-10 minutes to complete the questionnaire.
Your participation in this study is completely voluntary. There are no foreseeable risks associated with this project. However, if you feel uncomfortable answering any questions, you can withdraw from the survey at any point. It is very important for us to learn your opinions.
Your survey responses will be strictly confidential and data from this research will be reported only in the aggregate. To further guarantee your anonymity, you have been assigned an identification number. As soon as your response has has been noted, or if we have not received a response from you; your personnel information will be removed from the system so that the information that you provide cannot be identified to you or your hospital.
