UDFS 2016 Team Awards

UDFS team awards will honor team members that have gone above and beyond throughout the 2015-2016 season. Awards will be presented at the team banquet on Sunday, May 15th.

Please nominate at least one team member (or up to three team members) for each award. Nominate the team members that you feel best exemplify the description of each award.

Best Effort Award - expresses outstanding effort and dedication to the sport and team throughout the season

Best Teammate Award - expresses compassion and understanding towards other team members, consistently there for their teammates and promoted a positive team environment

Sportsmanship Award - expresses ethical, appropriate, polite and fair behavior during competitions. Exhibits clear respect for all competitors, teammates, coaches, judges, and volunteers.

Go-Getter Award - expresses outstanding determination and perseverance throughout the competitive season, made the best of each situation and obstacle that came in their way while creating their own opportunities

Helping Hand Award - goes above and beyond in order to help out with any competition, team event, or meeting. Exceeds the expectations of team membership and was dependable throughout the season

Most Versatile Competitor Award - most well-rounded skater that is dependable in earning points for the team in a variety of disciplines

Most Improved Competitor Award - demonstrated the most improvement in competitive performance throughout the season

Role Model Award - demonstrates ideal behavior of a team member throughout the course of the season, maintained a positive attitude and set a standard of team behavior

Team Spirit Award - exhibits excitement and enthusiasm about the team regardless of circumstances, always present, supportive and bleeding blue and gold
