* In this latest revision of the TPM, FTS was granted a change in the scope of approval by permitting in-direct approval, "Minor" amendments . Direct Approval can be characterized as;

Addition or removal of instructors from the list of approved instructors

Changes to the list of approved instructors; including, Changes/additions to authorizations for instructors (i.e. to add a new instructor to an existing course)

Additions or deletions affecting the scope of the Exposition; such as, Changes to the Management Personnel or duties defined in part 1.2

A Certificate (FTS001) and Training Record (FTS118) will be provided for each type and bridging course, except in the case(s) whereby;

The Student fails to produce a valid AME license (or equivalent)

The student is employed in the aviation industry and has completed a basic training course

The student misses less than 5 percent of the overall training course

An aircraft or product is not available for the practical portion of a course, such as due to late delivery to the customer, or aircraft has not returned to station, the completion of the practical portion may be extended up to;

* If circumstances force a delay in practical training, beyond the normal course completion date;

The Certificate of Recognition and Course Training Record will be withheld until practical training is completed

* Should a Student fail the first attempt at an exam, but passes the second attempt with an 80% score, the maximum mark recorded in the student's course file (documentation) would be;

The practical portion will consist of a minimum of 5% of Hands on training in the hangar. The student will be required to demonstrate different functions on the aircraft, and the instructor will challenge the student with oral questioning.
