Hi,
I am currently doing some research about electronic books (e-books) for my personal and professional gain as well as for an Ed.S. course that I am taking this summer. I would truly appreciate you taking the time to complete the survey. I want to know how e-books are used in schools and school libraries and how they are accessed. Which devices are used to read the e-books: computers and/or e-reader devices such as IPADS, Tablets, Kindles, Nooks, etc... I would like to know the best vendors for e-books and ones that are less desirable from your experiences. Also, does your school district allow for BYOD (bring your own device)for using e-books? What have been your successes and challenges with implementing the use of e-books in your school library? If you are not a librarian, please tell me if you work in a school and if so, what is your position? Finally, the pressing question is...do you prefer to read an e-book or a printed book? Do you think using e-books motivates reading? Why or why not?

Happy Summer Reading!
