You are invited to participate in my survey, Student Value at De Montfort University. In this survey, approximately 100 students will be asked to complete a survey that asks questions about the level of value they personally receive from De Montfort University. Value can be described as:

“The consumers overall assessment of the utility of a product based on perceptions of what is received and what is given” (Zeithamel, 1988, p14).

“Value is the market perceived quality adjusted for the relative price of your product” (Gale, 1994, p xiv).

As a student of De Montfort University, using this context you are judged to be a consumer with the product being everything you receive from De Montfort University. The price does not solely have to be financial aspects such as tuition fees, and can be other criteria e.g. effort in studying.
