Hello:
You are invited to participate in a survey interview on the strengths and weaknesses of your experience in hosting an international student. In this interview, approximately 4 people will be asked to answer questions about their overall experience and then rate their experience. It will take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete the interview.
Your participation in this study is completely voluntary. There are no foreseeable risks associated with this project. However, if you feel uncomfortable answering any questions, you can withdraw from the interview at any point. It is very important for us to learn your opinions.
Your survey responses will be used to better short-term home stay experiences for host families and international students. You will remain anonymous, and your responses will be shared with International Student Services and the Office of Cultural Diversity at University of Minnesota Duluth. If you have questions at any time about the interview or the procedures, you may contact Tory White by email at the email address specified below.
Thank you very much for your time and support. We will now begin the survey interview.
