Sustainment is defined as: 1. All actions from the event to include the implementation plan are completed. 2. If any action or process was adjusted, that the SOPs, Processes, Metrics, etc. are updated and Team Members have been retrained on the new process or actions. 3. The new process / metrics and Team Members behaviors are checked and become the "new normal".
