Groups of animals get special collective nouns, some of which are familiar (e.g., a pride of lions, a gaggle of geese) and others that are less known but quite evocative (e.g., a charm of hummingbirds, a parliament of owls). Starcraft units are much like animals – Zerglings are dogs, ultralisks are elephants, and archons are big, white fluffy bunnies, right? – so I wondered what sort of collective nouns would suit each. I found that the question has been posed several times in the past, but hadn't been definitively settled yet. The goal of this survey is to reach a consensus.
