You are invited to participate in my survey about self-determination in elementary education students. In this survey, approximately 50 people will be asked to complete a survey that asks questions about promoting self-determination in general education classrooms. It will take approximately 10 minutes to complete the questionnaire.

Your participation in this study is completely voluntary. There are no foreseeable risks associated with this project. However, if you feel uncomfortable answering any questions, you can withdraw from the survey at any point. It is very important for us to learn your opinions.

Your survey responses will be strictly confidential and data from this research will be reported only in the aggregate. Your information will be coded and will remain confidential. The Self-Determined Learning Model of Instruction (SDLMI) is a model of teaching that states that students in elementary education can learn to be self-determined and therefore take charge of their own learning. This model encourages teachers to guide and support students to self-regulate and self-direct so that they can engage in self-determined learning.
