Firstly, we want to thank you for sharing with us your expectations and great ideas but also for all your enthusiasm with this new initiative.

We have collected a wide range of information and perspectives that we have tried to synthesise in the following SaP CoP guidelines. We would appreciate all your comments and feedback.

Thank you!

Cheers,

Guiding principles

The SaP CoP is guided by principles that aim to allow and foster the attainment of the purpose and offer a shared framework in which sessions and members’ interactions are developed. All the members share the responsibility for the fulfilment and encouragement of these principles in the CoP.

  • Inclusive and diverse community: The variety of backgrounds, experiences, perspectives and contributions is promoted and equally valued and embraced. All the faculty, staff, and students who have an interest in SaP are welcome.

Active participation: The members of the CoP contribute to the achievement of the community purpose.
  • Practical focus: The activities and participation on the CoP are grounded on SaP practice and aim to share knowledge, tools and resources that can be applied to enhance partnerships.

  • Productive and informal interactions: the discussions, activities, and projects of the CoP are valued by the members, relevant to their practice, and contribute to the development of new partnerships.

  • Respectful, positive, and safe environment: The CoP is a space in which its members treat each others with respect. Members feel comfortable, safe, and supported to share their ideas, experiences, advice, and disagreement.

Voluntary involvement: All the members have the autonomy and freedom to decide if they want to participate or not in the community, define their level of engagement, and choose the roles they want to adopt.
