So that I can make recommendations to the Chief Information Officer about future activities relating to Software Asset Management, I would appreciate your comments on the following topics.
Please feel free to add any other ideas that you may have in the space provided at the end.

What thoughts do you have on the value of workshops featuring industry representatives, or experts from other agencies, facilitated by OCIO? Are there any topics you would like covered?

Do you see any value in, and would you participate in, a SAM special interest group?

How much value do you see in OCIO organising regular webinars, newsletters, emails, Facebook, etc, to provide updates on industry news, Govt policy, news articles, etc. What sort of information would you like to see in these?

If there was a page on SAGE that allowed you to ask questions, propose ideas, discuss issues, with other SAM people, would this be of value to you? How much do you think you would use it?

Who else from your agency (eg the CE, CIO, IT Manager, IT Security Advisor, etc) needs to be involved in SAM issues, in what capacity, and what value would they add?

Would it be useful if OCIO organised briefing sessions, webinars, etc, specifically for these people, and what should these cover?

What could be done to help you and your colleagues to improve the level of SAM capability in your organisation?

What can OCIO do to help you, or to raise awareness within your organisation about the importance of SAM?
