You are invited to participate in a survey sponsored by The National Association of Corporate Directors to determine whether the composition of the board of directors of U.S. corporations requires a more diverse membership in board positions due to globalization. In this survey, approximately 350 board members from Fortune 100 corporations will be asked to complete a survey that asks questions about the relationship between foreign board members strategic decision-making and corporate performance in global companies. It will take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete the questionnaire.
Your participation in this study is completely voluntary. There are no foreseeable risks associated with this project. However, if you feel uncomfortable answering any questions, you can withdraw from the survey at any point. It is very important to learn your opinions for this research study.
Your survey responses will be stricly confidential and data from this research will be reported only in the aggregate. Your information will be coded and will remain confidential. The researcher will be the only one with access to the surveys, raw data, and findings. All the surveys and resulting data will be stored on CDs in a locked file box in the researcher's home office throughout the research process and for seven years after completion of the research study. After the seven-year retention period, the data will be destroyed by cutting or shredding the CDs.
