You are invited to participate in my survey which will help me with my dissertation paper. In this survey, approximately 25 people will be asked to answer questions about Latinos and African Americans. It will take approximately 5 minutes to complete the questionnaire.

You should keep in mind the following definitions of "Latino" and "African American":

Latino - the United States Census Bureau identifies as Latinos the people who have Hispanic origin, in terms of nationality group, heritage, lineage, country of birth. Consequently, Latinos are those whose origin is Mexican, Puerto Rican, Cuban, Spanish-speaking Central or South American countries, or other Hispanic/Latino, regardless of race. 7

African American - the U.S. Office of Management and Budget categorizes Blacks as people having origins in any of the black racial groups of Africa.
