Why is the project being conducted?
The research is a course requirement for Bachelor of Science (Consumer Science) at RMIT University. The project aims to understand public knowledge, attitudes and behaviours associated to sun exposure risk.
Why have I been approached?
You are of 18 years old or above and have consumed media at least once in the past week.
What do I need to do?
Complete the following questionnaire, a task estimated to take less than 10 minutes.
What will happen to the information I provide?
The data being collected on QuestionPro will be reported anonymously and will remain confidential, viewed only by the investigator. Raw data will be kept securely for five years and then destroyed. Any information that you provide can be disclosed only if (1) it is to protect you or others from harm, (2) there is a legal requirement to do so, (3) you provide the researcher with written permission. Results will be given in an oral presentation to the supervisor, university staff and peers. It will be assumed you have given consent by completion of the questionnaire.
What are my rights as a participant?
At all times, you have the right to:

> Have any unprocessed data withdrawn or destroyed, provided it can be reliably identified.
