I’m a F.5 student. I’m currently working on an LS IES project titled ‘Is female masculinity prevalent among Hong Kong teenagers?’

Female masculinity, which is alternatively named tomboyism (女子男性化), refers to girls’ favour and preferences for masculine traits more than traditionally feminine traits in the aspects of appearance, social preferences, as well as activity preferences. The project aims to investigate the level of prevalence of female masculinity among Hong Kong teenage girls and the associated factors. Information on both items will be gathered through the questionnaire. All details and figures obtained will be kept confidential. Thank you for your time.
