My name is x. I am calling on behalf of the CDC regarding the CDC PHEP BP 10 Training Program. We’re trying to get input about the training program so that it can be improved upon and are wondering if you would have a few minutes to answer some survey questions for us.

We are in the process of evaluating how we could improve the delivery and content of our training on the PHEP Cooperative Agreement performance measures. During our discussion today, we’d like to learn more about your impressions and suggestions regarding the training resources that DSLR has developed on the BP10 performance measures, if you have viewed them.

If you haven’t viewed them, we would like to ascertain more about the reasons, and how we could make the training resources more accessible and relevant to you in your work in public health preparedness and response.

A report will be compiled from the responses we receive from you and other PHEP awardees to these questions. Please be assured that neither your name nor state will be associated with any particular comment that you provide today, that your participation in this discussion is not a requirement of the cooperative agreement, and that none of your comments can be used in any decisions about program funding or performance.

We now would like to ask you some questions about the methods through which we are currently delivering training on the BP10 performance measures, and how we could improve these methods to make training more accessible and relevant to our PHEP awardees.

We are currently delivering our performance measures training via electronic methods including a webinar (transmission of an audio and visual media file scheduled at a particular time and is delivered live over the Internet and online modules (an audio and visual media file that is available to be viewed anytime at your convenience over the internet). In terms of computer-based training, do you have a preference for one versus the other or a combination of the two?

Currently, accessing our online training modules requires viewers to first obtain a username and password. Viewers then log into the site, utilizing their username and password, for the initial and all subsequent visits to the site.

Does this in any way affect your interest or ability to view the training modules?

We are also considering the feasibility of providing a limited number of live, in-person trainings on the performance measures? Would you prefer that over computer-based offerings?

Do you have any suggestions of where and when such a live training could be delivered given that funding would be limited?

Do you have suggestions as to how we could additionally promote the availability of our BP10 performance measures training resources? (e.g. are there places that you would suggest we post this information, are there additional conferences we should be attending?)

Do you have any other suggestions that we have not already discussed regarding how we could improve our training program on the PHEP Cooperative Agreement performance measures?
