Survey of Experience with Virtual Environments

Thank you again for agreeing to take part in this research project. As outlined in the Research Project Information Sheet, this is the pre-participation survey and it will take a maximum of ten minutes.

David Holloway, a PhD student at University of the Sunshine Coast, is conducting research that evaluates the usefulness of a virtual environment simulation experience in regard to safe administration of medication.

To assist this research we would like to collect data about your views about your previous experience in the use of virtual environments and 3D games. Participation in this research is VOLUNTARY. Your responses will be entirely CONFIDENTIAL and ANONYMOUS. No identifying information will be collected.

The data gathered will be used only in relation to the project and and is not related to your subject choices as part of your nursing degree. Non participation will not impact on your study. The data gathered will be aggregated and you will be entirely unidentifiable.

The results will be included in the project report and may be included in publications and conference presentations

Your decision to continue with this survey will be considered as having provided informed consent.
