Hello,

You are invited to participate in this survey on personality and instant judgements. In this survey, approximately 200 people will be asked to complete three series of questions consisting of personality orientation, general knowledge and visual judgement questions on which you should answer with the initial judgement answer that comes to mind. It will take approximately 20 minutes to complete the questionnaire.

Your participation in this study is completely voluntary. There are no foreseeable risks associated with this project. However, if you feel uncomfortable answering any questions, you can withdraw from the survey at any point. It is very important to us that you provide answers that are as truthful as possible to yourself in the initial personality section of this questionnaire and that you input your initial judgements on the general knowledge parts of the questionnaire.

Every effort will be made to protect the identities of the participants in this study. Nonetheless, please be advised that although the researchers will make no attempt to trace participants identity, the data collection process does not record the IP (Internet Protocol) address of the computer on which participants complete the study; this IP address is linked to the computer and not the individual using it, which means that your identity might not be completely secure if you are using a private computer in the event that agents not connected to this project (e.g. hackers) attempt to access the data. Please participate in this research only if you are comfortable with this risk.

Data from this study will be reported only in the purposes of this undergraduate research project at Kingston University (London). Data gathered in this experiment will be safeguarded by the Faculty of Arts and Social Science department at Kingston University for a period of up to 5 years.

All identifiers, including your sex and age will be removed from any publications and reports that use your data.

If you have questions at any time about the survey or the procedures, you may contact any of the research team on the details provided at the end of the questionnaire.

We thank you in advance for your time and support. Please start with the survey by accepting the conditions of participation and by clicking on the Continue button below.
