A. I exhibit negativity or a reluctance to be in class or participate in activities. I take away from the positive community.
 
B. I'm not actively negative towards anyone, but I exhibit a disinterested attitude and lack any enthusiasm.
 
C. I may contribute to the positive community, but it depends on the day and my mood.
 
D. I am always positive and willing to try new things. I support my classmates in doing the same by helping establish a non-threatening environment where all participants can be themselves and take risks to have fun and learn.

Stretching to the next level/Ownership of learning
 
A. I make little to no attempt to apply recently learned material. I stay in my comfort zone. When I have any trouble I get frustrated and give up and/or make no attempt.
 
B. I sometimes go out of my way to try out new material, but I mostly stick in my comfort zone.
 
C. I attempt to apply newly learned material, but when it gets difficult, I resort back to my comfort zone.
 
D. I am focused on applying new learning material and stretch to the next level. I take a lot of risks and make mistakes as I experiment with new concepts. I study the class vocab list on my own.
 
E. I am dead set on learning as much as I can in this class by taking advantages of all the in and out of class opportunities (asking question, studying quizlet on my own).
