My name is Colin Davis, I am a third year student at the University of Bedfordshire, and I am conducting this survey as market research for my thesis. This survey is made up of 8 questions and can be completed in 3-5 minutes.

The aim of this project is to create a user friendly network monitoring program that will passively monitor the network for the running prohibited programs (file sharing programs, keyloggers etc.) and alert the administrator by a desktop alert or an email with the date,time and MAC address of the computer(s) and the programs being run.
