Thank you for taking part in the National Association of Health Professionals, NAHP, job task analysis survey. The NAHP examination is administered autonomously through the NAHP, and your participation in this survey will assist the NAHP in developing a high-quality, nationally-accredited certification.

The purpose of this survey is to gather quantitative data on what job tasks and skills are most important. You will be presented with a list of tasks and skills involved in the profession of a medical assistant, sorted into domains, and you will be asked to provide a rating of how important/critical you think each one is, and the amount of time you spend on each. Tasks which have higher ratings deserve more weight on the exam.

The NAHP credential is designed to advance the practice of medical assisting by maintaining high and rigorous standards for the clinical practices that reflect quality professional services. A national voluntary system of certification will be implemented to meet these standards with the goal of promoting sustained, intensive high-quality professional development and establishing partnerships through collegial interactions across all disciplines in health care.
