Welcome to the MOM Section 6 Restructure Survey!
As a result of the concern within the logistics community that Section 6 of the NMP-MOM should be structured differently, a Tiger Team was formed to develop restructure options (using Revision 4 as the baseline), conduct a survey to garner input and recommendations, and determine a recommendation to management for approval. The survey is completed online using the link provided below. The survey is now open and we urge you to take approximately 15-30 minutes of your time to take this survey. The feedback you provide through your participation in this survey is valuable to management, and will be the major input used by the Tiger Team for the restructure recommendation. If you have any questions concerning this process, please contact either myself (

What about the existing MOM Section 6 is working well? (Please be specific and provide examples if possible.)
What about the existing MOM Section 6 is not working well and could be improved? (Please be specific and provide examples if possible.)
In the past, the MOM Section 6 was written to be a "one-stop shopping" source for logistics information so the reader does not have to consult other resources as often, although this increased the section's size and complexity. There is a proposal to limit Section 6 to only modernization-related information not contained elsewhere which would shorten and simplify Section 6, but require users to refer to other documents more often. Which approach do you prefer?
As much information as required to be a single-source document
Mostly single-source information with some references
No preference
Mostly modernization-only information with some key information that is referenced elsewhere
Only use modernization-related information not referenced elsewhere
Currently the MOM Section 6 is structured in groups of installation processes and logistics disciplines. Three proposed structures are being considered for Section 6; which do you prefer?
