Dear Sir/Madam,

Re:Masters Questionnaire
3 minutes 30 seconds to complete

My name is Neil King and I am a post graduate student studying for an MA in Research Methodology at Liverpool University. I am currently undertaking research for my final year dissertation on the subject of drug policy in relation to legal highs. My dissertation topic is,

“An assessment and critical analysis of the policy options open to the UK government in response to the emerging trend within recreational drug use of legal highs as identified by the ACMD”.

My dissertation will look at the emerging trend of legal highs in recreational drug use and assess the potential policy responses to its perceived threat to public health in the UK. It will survey a spectrum of responses from drug policy experts from academia, government and private research organisations.I wondered if you may have time to take part in my short survey?( it can be completed in 3 minutes and 30 seconds)

All correspondence and participant confidentiality will comply with the Data Protection Act (1988) and Freedom of Information Act (2000) as well as comply with the Liverpool University Data Protection Policy (http://www.liv.ac.uk/dp/dppolicy.htm) and if used will be strictly anonymysed.

Thank you very much for your time and support. NK
