Jamify is a music collaboration app for smartphones that allows musicians at any skill level and music interest to easily play, record and mix together instrumental tracks (vocal, guitar, drum etc) using the phone’s mic. This means that as a musician you can search friends or discover new musicians from all over the world to play music with. Jamify has 3 scenarios that we are looking to develop and we are interested in your thoughts and feedback on these.

Scenario 1: Public Space

The Public Space allows you to record an instrumental track and post it or discover other people’s music and then play, record and mix your music with theirs. The public space provides a feed of people from all over the world, where you can discover new music and new people to play with. Whether you are looking to find a particular instrument or a particular genre of music you want to play with, Jamify makes music discovery and creation as simple as pressing record and jamming out.
The Public Space posts all music as creative commons however, if you would like to license your music and license your music then you can do so for a monthly subscription of $5.
