This research is being conducted in affiliation with Southern Illinois University Carbondale (SIUC) and is intended to help us better understand factors that motivate informational technology professionals’ organizational citizenship behavior.
In this survey, professional individuals like yourself will be asked questions about your work related information and demographic background. It will take approximately 20-25 minutes to complete the online survey. Your completion of the survey indicates voluntary consent to participate in this study. To compensate for your time and effort, you will be registered in a drawing of four BestBuy gift certificates including a $200 and three $100 gift cards once you complete the survey.
If you feel uncomfortable answering any questions, you can withdraw from the survey at any point. Your responses will be used only for research purposes and will be destroyed once the research has been completed. Only the researchers will have access to the data set and will take all reasonable steps to protect your identity. Once the research is completed, there will be no future e-mails. Your survey responses will be confidential and data from this research will be reported only in the aggregate.
If you have questions about the survey or the procedures, you may contact Dr. John M. Pearson, Associate Professor, College of Business, at 618-453-7802 or by email at [email protected] and Shih Yung Chou, doctoral candidate, College of Business, at 618-453-3307 or by email at [email protected].
This project has been reviewed and approved by SIUC Human Subjects Committee. Questions concerning your rights as a participant in this research may be addressed to the Committee Chairperson, Office of Research Development and Administration, Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, Il 62901-4709.
