Dear Horsemens and Horsewomen As part of my Business Administration studies at Fernfachhochschule Schweiz (the Swiss University of Applied Sciences), I have to write a Bachelor thesis in the ninth and final semester with the objective of examining a chosen research topic in a structured, expert and methodological manner and record the results in a descriptive research paper. Due to my longstanding passion, horse riding, I have been dealing with the subject of horse training for a long time and am interested in various training methods. I have often wondered why certain methods sell well and what compels so many adherents or students to thoroughly follow the method unrestricted. In this paper, I address precisely these questions and seek to learn from both trainers and students why they follow a specific method. It is also important for me to learn how founders of training methods skillfully market their methods and what their biggest challenges were or still are. We would like to thank you for taking the time to participating the survey and to share your experiences and thereby support me considerably in answering my research questions and achieving the objective of this paper. The information will be treated confidentially, and respondents will not be named in my paper. |
