It has been a few weeks since we launched the Go Local campaign in Banchory and we are keen to find out what your thoughts about it are. What worked, what didn't, did it make a difference to your business and how do you see the campaign's future?

What were your expectations of the Go Local launch weekend beforehand?
How did the Go Local launch weekend make a difference to your business?
There were more people coming into my premises
There were more new people coming in who I had never seen before

The Go Local Banchory campaign launch was developed as a 'pilot project' by GANE and has cost them around £6,000 in total. Would you consider contributing to any future campaigns?
Yes, by donating some money towards it
Yes, by donating in-kind (staff time or material)
No, it should all be covered by raising external funds
No, I don't think the campaign should continue anyway

How would you like to see the campaign developing in Banchory?
As an annual cultural festival
Multiple smaller events (like arts markets, performances, exhibitions) during the year, happening inside shops or outdoors
As a simple mutual support system between the local arts organisations and businesses
Just displaying the logo on windows and promotional material
I don't think it's worth continuing the campaign any further
