Demographic Info: TBI Support

My name is Edie Zimmerman. I have a son who suffered severe axonal shearing on June 10, 2009. I personally found the Caringbridge website to be my life support system during the first 3 crucial months of my son's coma. It was a way to stay connected to others, receive their wisdom and encouragement through words. The love & support that poured through those posts kept me going during some of my darkest moments. More recently I have joined several Face Book groups for people who either have, know, or care for someone with TBI. It seems that members of these groups are continually asking where each live in hopes of finding a neighbor, or at least someone close enough to meet with personally for support and friendship. We all know how aliented we become once caring for our TBI child. This survey will hopefully, once the data is compiled and sorted, bring people within a reasonable distance from each other together. If you would be interested in taking the survey please know that your email or any other information will not be shared. My hope is to form a National Group with several subchapters representing various counties in various states.
