Considerations for Hosting International Students

Hello:
You are invited to participate in a survey interview on the concerns and needs you may have for potentially hosting an international student. In this interview, approximately 3-5 people will be asked to participate in an interview that asks questions about needs and concerns that may arise during a host experience and the likelihood that you may choose to host an international student. It will take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete the interview.

Your participation in this study is completely voluntary. There are no foreseeable risks associated with this project. However, if you feel uncomfortable answering any questions, you can withdraw from the interview at any point. It is very important for us to learn your opinions.

Your interview responses will be used to better opportunities for short-term home stay experiences with international students and host families.You will remain anonymous and your responses will be shared with International Student Services and the University of Minnesota Duluth.
