The purpose of the offsite on August 17, 2010:
Forrester will help LPL understand the trends, key technologies and best practices for creating and piloting a world-class enterprise collaboration platform. Discussions will focus on best practices, processes, challenges to anticipate, and overall value of implementing an enterprise collaboration platform at LPL.
In the morning we plan to:
- Explore collaboration business cases hands-on
- Observe possible future scenarios of social media and technology enabling work / life
- Have a discourse with a panel of people representing companies that have used internal collaboration platforms
In the afternoon, after the panel, we plan to discuss:
- How our business can be enabled in ways that we have not yet considered?
- How can we drive engagement to be sure we get realistic and ample feedback on the pilot?
- What policies or regulatory issues might be an issue or might we not have issues where we expected them?
- How will we recognize successes and challenges?
Prior to the offsite you will be receiving a comprehensive document on the current pilot purpose and progress to be sure you are completely up-to-date.
