Greetings,

You are invited to participate in a survey examining Church-based Higher Education ministries. In this survey, approximately 40 Churches will be asked to complete a survey that asks questions about their ministry in Higher Education. The survey is being sent to selected Churches that have a Bible Institute, Bible College, or Seminary ministry (herein referred to as 'College'). With almost 40 years of ministry experience in Christian education it is a personal burden to see Christian students continue their education at the next level of academics and spiritual growth.

Your participation in this study is completely voluntary. There are no foreseeable risks associated with this project. However, if you feel uncomfortable answering any questions, you can withdraw from the survey at any point. It is very important in this research to learn of your ministry at an advanced academic and spiritual level.

The survey will take approximately 20 minutes to complete the questionnaire. This is not meant to be a 'fluff' survey but one that will be a useful research tool. Your survey responses will be strictly confidential and data from this research will be reported only in the aggregate. The collected information will be a part of my Dissertation for a Ph.D. focusing on Ministry Leadership from Louisiana Baptist University, Shreveport, Louisiana. Your information will be coded and will remain confidential.

If you have questions at any time about the survey or the procedures, you may contact Ed Richardson at 864-855-8689 or by email at the email address specified below.

Thank you very much for your time and support. Please respond by Wednesday, February 1, 2012. You can start the survey now by clicking on the Continue button below.
