Learning Goal/Purpose Statement: The purpose of this activity is to assist staff nurses interested in becoming certified in the specialty of critical care or progressive care to assess their current knowledge and identify specific areas for further study prior to taking the CCRN or PCCN exam. At the end of this session, the nurse will recognize gaps in knowledge which can be closed by further preparation for these exams.
