Dear Parent,
We are looking to finalise and refine our Sports, Music, Arts and Co-Curriculum offer at Bedford Girls' School. Instead of just providing the same activities as were previously offered at BHSg and DAHS, we would like to seek your input to help define the new offering at Bedford Girls' School.
You will probably need your daughter'(s') help to complete some parts of this questionnaire. It should only take 10-15 mins to complete. This may also be an opportunity for you to see the sum of the activities currently offered at the combined schools - you may think about doing new activities you or your daughter(s)may not be currently into.
We are very happy to offer all of these activities if these are valued by you and your daughters and there is sufficient participation. We would also like to take the opportunity to offer new, exciting and different activities if there is sufficient demand. We need your input to help define what you and your daughters would like Bedford Girls' School to provide.
In the final part of the survey, as technology has moved so quickly in the past few years, we would also like to find out a little more about how you would like to be communicated with at Bedford Girls' School.
Your participation in this study is completely voluntary. However, if you feel uncomfortable answering any questions, you can withdraw from the survey at any point. It is very important for us to learn about your opinions.
Your survey responses will be strictly confidential (but not anonymous) and data from this questionnaire will only be looked at in aggregate. If you have questions at any time about the survey or the procedures, you may contact the Bursar at Bedford Girls' School by email at [email protected].
Thank you very much for your time and support. Please start with the survey now by clicking on the Continue button below.

We will launch a new BGS website on or before September 2011. In building the new website, we will take into account the comments and suggestions that we have gathered from staff, parents and girls in the past year.
Some parents have suggested that we offer a 'secure' area that is accessible to BGS parents only. After logging into this area, parents could then communicate with other parents in an 'open forum' to share ideas and comments.
