Hello:
You are invited to participate in our survey regarding benefit options for BPCA members. It has been suggested that specific benefits may be a significant draw for contractors as a way of building membership in BPCA. We are trying to get a little feedback from contractors on our contact list, in hopes of discerning how much energy it would be worth putting into pursuing various possible benefits.

Your participation in this study is completely voluntary. It is very important for us to learn your opinions.

Your survey responses will be strictly confidential and data from this research will be reported only in the aggregate. Your information will be coded and will remain confidential. If you have questions at any time about the survey or the procedures, you may contact Tom Perry at 802.238.3478 or by email: [email protected].

Thank you very much for your time and support. Please start with the survey now by clicking on the Continue button below.

Other (Please name or suggest):

BPCA has been promoted primarily as a trade organization intended to raise the profile of the home performance industry in Vermont, to generate public awareness of building performance services and building science in general, and to develop an advocacy presence in the state house and state government. This will benefit building performance contractors whether they join BPCA or not. At what dues level would you be willing to support BPCA without more specific business or personal benefits such as those listed in question 1?

How much would any of the above listed benefits increase the amount you are willing to pay to join?

Are there any benefits without which you would not be willing to join?

Please look at the list below of local trade associations, their dues, and their most significant benefits. In an idealized sense, please check the box next to the trade association below which most closely matches what you think BPCA could or should be offering its members?

Assuming that BPCA might not be able to obtain all the benefits you would like at once, what should it focus its energies on obtaining?

What part of its energies should be focused on specific business or personal benefits as opposed to its other activities such as general promotion and lobbying?

Now that you have been thinking about this a little bit, please share any other comments or thoughts you might have.
