Due to the lack of research around this topic and having experienced the forces lifestyle myself I would like to gather information in order to help better the services offered to personnel and families - particularly later in life once families have left the forces. Having recently dug into this topic I have realised I am not alone in that my past is blotchy, names and faces rarely come to mind, and although no credible research has been conducted, it has been shown that this lifestyle can have an affect on young children, particularly later on in life. My aim is to find out how widespread this problem is, collect information and hopefully find a solution which can help the armed forces and their families better connect with past and present friends. |
