When you acquire an image with the Antera 3D camera, do any of these factors represent an issue? Please provide a score from 1 to 5 (1: serious issue, 5: no issue at all) for each case.
1 2 3 4 5
Obtaining the correct exposure.
Obtaining images on focus.
Ambient light effects in the image.
Image blurring due to the camera not being perfectly still.
Skin deformations due to contact pressure of the camera against the skin.
Real-time feedback by monitoring the live on-screen rendering of the image while being captured.

On a scale from 1 to 5, how easy is it to use the Antera software? (1 “very difficult”, 5 “very easy”). Specifically:
1 2 3 4 5
Capturing images.
Managing image files (saving, opening, locating, etc..).
Analyzing images (performing and matching selections, choosing the correct set of filters and features).
Saving data and creating reports.

On a scale from 1 to 5, how fast is it to use the Antera software? (1 “very slow”, 5 “very fast”). Specifically:
1 2 3 4 5
Capturing images.
Managing image files (saving, opening, locating, etc..).
Analyzing images (performing and matching selections, choosing the correct set of filters and features).
Saving data and creating reports.

  Client database and image management

Does the description below accurately represent the way in which you organize images and manage data?

Acquire images related to the same skin area from a number of different subjects (say subject ‘A’, ‘B’,’C’, etc..).

Repeat the acquisition procedure at different times (time ’T0’, ’T1’, ’T2’, etc..) for all subjects.

Perform before & after comparisons on the features of interest between two images at a time.

Export the data to the Table Report.

Repeat points ‘c’ and ‘d’ as needed until you have filled the Table Report with your entire data set.

If the above description is not accurate, would you provide a description of how you organize images and manage data?

Do you follow any specific practice in organizing your images?
For example:

All images are stored in a specific location or folder that represents the clinical trial. Images are labelled according to client, time and possibly skin area (for example “B_T1_S4.an-img” would represent an image of subject ‘B’ taken at time ’T1’ and on skin area ’S4’.)

Images are organised into folders specific to each subject (you have folders ‘A’, ‘B’, ‘C’, etc.. and images are labelled as “T1_S4.an-img”)

Images are organised into folders which represent different times (you have folders ‘T0’, ‘T1’, etc.. and images are labelled as “B_S4.an-img”)

Do you have any specific reason to follow such practice?

Would you be open to follow a different scheme if the Antera software provided built-in support for image organization tasks?

For example:

Layout 1. The subject is the key and all images of subject ‘A’ are displayed in chronological order (time ’T0’, ’T1’, ’T2’, etc.). Each row of images corresponds to a subject, and columns correspond to different times ‘T0’, ‘T1’, etc.

  • Layout 2. Time is the key. Each row of images corresponds to a time-point, and columns correspond to different subjects ‘A’, ‘B’, etc.
