I am enrolled in a Program Design class at South Dakota State University. We have an assignment where we need to build/come up with a new program that will help a specific population. I chose to make a program where I would work on skill building with disabled adults. I feel that it is important for adults with disabilities to learn work skills so they are able to work in the real world. It is also important for them to practice these skills for when they are out in society. My goal is to help adults with disabilities come out of this program with at least one learned skill.
