Welcome! For the past 14 years EAMS has offered our students an opportunity to choose from a variety of planned packages where they would participate in a physical activity over a 2 day period. The initiative was that we wanted to appeal not only to the "naturally athletic" type but rather introduce a range of activities that every student might include toward living an active lifestyle. This is where the term "Active Living Days" originated.
A great deal of time and energy go into making this a success each year. Although this has always been well-attended and, we believe, well received it has become more difficult in recent years to get a timely commitment from a number of students/parents. It is for this reason that we want to obtain your feed back for the 2009-2010 school year.
Our ALD committee is currently weighing the value of including other quality-of-life experiences or co-curricular extensions that may appeal to a broader range of interests. We recognize the merit in introducing culture, fine arts or other personal wellness alternatives as it is all focussed toward encouraging a healthy lifestyle. This survey will help us to get a pulse on whether we will continue on the same, make some changes or if it is no longer affordable or valued.
This survey will take 4-5 minutes, or less, to complete.
